    1GOAL isn't about scoring a penalty kick at your next Sunday BBQ, it's about bringing education to 72 million children across the world that need our help.

    These children are excluded from school for many reasons - diseases, disability, poverty, or they're simply residents of devastating war zones.

    The interesting part about this movement is that they don't want monetary donations. If you're genuinely interested in helping, all they ask of you is to sign up your name at:

    Back in 2009, a single Bluefin Tuna was sold for more than $100,000 at an auction in Tokyo!

    You're probably asking yourself how a single fish can be worth that much, well according to the New York Times there are only about 9,000 Bluefin Tuna left in the North American waters.

    Not only is their extinction nearing due to aggressive fishing, the BP oil spill certainly didn't help their cause.

    Adrian Grenier from "Entourage" has teamed up with Oceana to help save the lives of Bluefin Tuna, one of the fastest fish in the world.

  • Blackberry Protect FTW

    Tired of having to manually connect your phone to your computer to sync your email, contacts, and other important information? Look no further, RIM has just announced they are going to release a new service called Blackberry Protect.

    This application will allow Blackberry users to sync everything from emails, contacts, calendars, memos, bookmarks, etc. over the air (OTA). It also includes ability to restore or backup your device OTA as well.

    Lose your phone somewhere in your house? Lose your phone over the weekend at some party? Don't sweat. Blackberry Protect comes with Remote Desktop Management, which basically means you will be able to track, lock, swipe your device right from your computer.

    The best part about this? It's FREE!! The bad part? It's still in beta and accessible to a limited number of Blackberry Beta Zone users at this time.

    We would like to share with you an interesting campaign started by Hip Hop Caucus and Green for All. Green The Block is a national campaign and coalition aimed at helping low-income communities of color become driving forces of the clean-energy economy.

    Many families in America rely on federally subsidized school meals to provide for their kid's nutrition needs. Now that schools are in vacation for the summer, low-income areas are going to need all the help they can get.

    The Los Angeles Unified School District is now offering a Summer Meal Services Program that provides free meals to anyone between the ages of one and 18. These programs run from July 6th to 30th at participating locations.
